About the university

The University of Victoria, established in 1963, is a non-profit public higher education institution based in Victoria, British Columbia. Enrolling 20,000-24,999 students, it's officially recognized by British Columbia's Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. The university offers various programs leading to pre-bachelor's, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees. Admissions are selective, based on entrance exams and students' prior academic records. Support services include a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids, study abroad programs, online courses, distance learning, and administrative aid. International students are invited to apply.
