About the university

Laval University, established in 1852, is a large non-profit public education institution based in Quebec City, Quebec. Serving 25,000-29,999 students, it's officially recognized by Quebec's Ministry of Education and Higher Education and offers a wide variety of degree programs, from pre-bachelor's to doctorates. Its admissions are selective, based on entrance exams and students' past academic records. University services include a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aid, study abroad programs, online courses, distance learning options, and administrative services. International students are welcome to apply.
