The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), founded in 1974, is a public higher education institution situated in the suburban area of Abbotsford, British Columbia, with branch campuses in Chilliwack, Mission, Hope, and Agassiz. Recognized by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills of British Columbia, it is a large coeducational institution with 10,000-14,999 students.
