The King's University

About the university

The King's University, founded in 1979, is a non-profit private higher education institution in Edmonton, Alberta. It is recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education of Alberta and formally affiliated with the Christian-Reformed religion. The university, which is very small with an enrollment range of 500-999 students, offers courses and programs leading to recognized pre-bachelor's (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation) and bachelor's degrees in multiple study areas. Admission is selective, based on students' past academic records and grades, with a high acceptance rate of 80-89%, making it less selective. International students can apply. King's provides several academic and non-academic services such as a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services.
