NSCAD University

About the university

The NSCAD University, established in 1887, is a non-profit public higher education institution in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Recognized by the Department of Advanced Education of Nova Scotia, the university is a very small coeducational institution, with an enrollment range of 500-999 students. NSCAD offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized bachelor's and master's degrees across several areas of study. It has a selective admission policy, based on students' past academic records and grades, with an acceptance rate of 60-69%, making it moderately selective. International students can apply. NSCAD offers various academic and non-academic services such as a library, financial aids and scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services.
