About the university

University Canada West (UCW), established in 2005, is a for-profit private higher education institution based in the large city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills of British Columbia, the coeducational UCW is very small, with fewer than 250 students. The university offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized bachelor's and master's degrees in several areas of study. Admission is selective, based on students' past academic records and grades. International students are eligible to apply. UCW provides services including a library, financial aids, scholarships, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
