Lakehead University is a medium-sized, non-profit, public higher education institution located in the small city of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Founded in 1965, it's officially recognized by Ontario's Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, with an enrollment range of 8,000-8,999 students. The university offers a range of courses that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees, such as bachelor's degrees, in various areas of study. Admissions are selective, based on students' past academic performance. International students are welcome to apply.
